The principals in CANTON ASSOCIATES are Marcia E. Canton. Ph.D., President and Founder, and Joe C. Canton, Ph.D., Executive Vice President and General Manager, together, they developed and designed the programs described in this presentation. Canton Associates is fully warranted to customize and conduct the development processes in your facility or designated sites, exclusively with your personnel, under actual operational conditions, to achieve your specific organizational goals.

MARCIA E. CANTON holds MA and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, a MS from the University of California, San Francisco and received her BS from Long Island University. Dr. Canton has over twenty years of administrative, management and teaching experience. A full professor at San Jose State University and has held a variety of mission critical administrative positions at this, and other institutions. Dr. Canton specializes in organizational and management development. She has traveled extensively, presenting management and mentoring programs.

JOE C. CANTON holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, as well as a masters degree from Occidental College, Los Angeles. Dr. Canton was a CORO Intern and teaches in the School of Business Continuing Education at the University of California in Berkeley.

He has over twenty years of professional personnel management experience in municipal government, private agencies, health care organizations, colleges and universities. Former Director of Personnel and Labor Relations of the City of San Bernardino and San Francisco State University, he has, as educator, management consultant, and personnel professional, conducted workshops on classification systems, employment, salary administration, personnel training, affirmative action, employee relations, and cultural influences in the workplace.
